Parkview Pool will open on Thursday, June 18, 2020.  At this time, the closing date is still to be determined.  Due to the shortened season, summer passes will not be offered this year; a daily $4.00 per person rate will apply (children under 6 will be admitted free of charge).  Pre-registration and reservation of available timeslots will be required.

In an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19, many restrictions will apply this summer to comply with the guidelines issued by the CDC, the State of Ohio and the Cuyahoga County Health Department:

  • Admission will be limited to 100 persons.
  • Only Mayfield Village residents and Progressive employees and their guests will be admitted.
  • Pre-registration will be required to obtain a free 2020 Parkview Access Pass for admission to Parkview Pool. Access Pass holders will be permitted to bring in a maximum of 5 guests for a total of 6 persons per visit (see below for details).
  • Reservations for available swim sessions can be made online or by phone (see below for details).
  • Access Pass holders will be required to complete a daily online health screening each time they visit the Pool.
  • Access Pass holders will be required to complete a COVID-19 Waiver prior to entering the Pool for the first time. This Waiver can be completed online through the Sportsman System or at the front desk.
  • All guests will have their temperature taken as they enter the Pool facility.
  • Children ages 13 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult 18+ years old.
  • Access Pass holders and their guests will be assigned to a seating area or “Pod” upon arrival at the Pool. Each Pod will have a maximum occupancy of 6 people.  Pods will be designated with a number and one (1) lounge chair.  Additional chairs must be brought from home. Upright chairs will be available, upon request, for senior adults.  Once placed, guests will not be permitted to move or relocate their chairs from their designated Pod, or combine Pods with other groups.
  • All guests must wear face masks when entering, exiting, and moving about the Pool facility. Guests are not required to wear masks when in their Pod or actively swimming.
  • Social distancing practices are required to be followed while at the Pool facility, both in and out of the water. Social distancing is not required of persons in the same Pod.
  • Additional handwashing stations will be available. All guests are asked to practice good personal hygiene including washing hands often using soap and water for at least 20 seconds, using hand sanitizer, refraining from touching eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands, coughing and sneezing into an elbow, etc.
  • The use of showers and lockers will be prohibited. Valuables should be left at home.
  • Both outdoor and indoor restrooms will be available and will be cleaned and sanitized several times per day. The number of guests permitted in the restroom areas will be limited.
  • No toys or flotation devices will be permitted in the Pool. Personal goggles and U.S. Coast Guard approved life jackets will be permitted.
  • The use of the slide and diving well will be prohibited.
  • The Parkview Concession will be closed for the 2020 season. Outside food and beverages will be permitted. No glass of any kind is permitted in the Pool area. If having food delivered, arrangements need to be made to meet the delivery at the turnaround located in front of the main entrance. All trash and items must be removed from the pod area prior to exiting the building.
  • Guards and management staff will educate guests on additional guidelines and/or rules.
  • Failure to comply with all facility rules and/or state mandates will result in removal from the Pool with future access revoked.
