Village Profile

Mayfield Village is located in Cuyahoga County, Ohio. Mayfield Village was originally part of the Mayfield Township. Mayfield Village was founded in 1819 and was incorporated in 1920.

Mayfield Village has a total area of 4.2 square miles, all of it land, which includes 655 acres of the Metroparks North Chagrin Reservation. Mayfield Village borders Highland Heights on the west, Mayfield Heights on the south, Gates Mills on the East, and Willoughby Hills to the north.

Mayfield Village is a part of the Mayfield City School District along with Gates Mills, Highland Heights, and Mayfield Heights. Mayfield Village is home to Mayfield High School, and is also the location of Center Elementary School.
