MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF COUNCIL
Mayfield Village Civic Hall – Mayfield Village Civic Center
Monday, December 2, 2019 – Immediately following Caucus at 7:00 p.m.

The Council of Mayfield Village met in Special Session on Monday, December 2, 2019 immediately following Caucus at 7:00 p.m. at Mayfield Village Civic Hall.  Council President Saponaro called the meeting to order at 7:17 p.m.

ROLL CALL: 

Present: Mr. Marquardt, Mr. Meyers, Mrs. Mills, Dr. Parker, Mr. Saponaro, Mr. Schutt, and Mr. Williams

Also Present: Mayor Bodnar, Mr. Coyne, Mr. Wynne, Mr. Cappello, Assistant Fire Chief Libens, Chief Matias, Mr. Marrelli, Mr. Metzung, Ms. Wolgamuth, and Mrs. Betsa

Absent: Mr. McAvinew and Mr. Marquart

The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given.

Executive Session

  • Motion to enter into Executive Session pursuant to Section 121.22(G)(4) for a personnel matter relating to benefits

Mrs. Mills, seconded by Dr. Parker, made a motion to enter into Executive Session pursuant to Section 121.22(G)(4) for a personnel matter relating to benefits

Council President Saponaro asked, discussion?

There were none.

ROLL CALL:

AYES: All
NAYS: None

Motion Carried.

Council President Saponaro stated, we will make a motion when we reconvene from Executive Session.  There will be no voting.  You are welcome to stay.  The only item on the agenda after that is adjournment.  In the Executive Session, besides Council and Mayor Bodnar, I would like to have Mary Beth, Diane, Mr. Coyne and Mr. Wynne.  Thank you.

Council returned from Executive Session.

  • Motion to reconvene into Regular Session of Council

Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Marquardt, made a motion to reconvene into Regular Session of Council.

Council President Saponaro asked, discussion?

There were none.

NAYS: None

Motion Carried.

Council reconvened into Regular Session at 8:05 p.m.

Council President Saponaro asked, are there any other matters?

There were no further matters.

ADJOURNMENT

Mrs. Mills, seconded by Dr. Parker, made a motion to adjourn.

The meeting adjourned at 8:05 p.m.  The next Council meeting is scheduled for Monday, December 16, 2019 at 7:00 p.m.
