1. Purchase of new riding mower (Marshall Power Equipment - $9,062.00)

Mrs. Cinco reported, Safety and Service approved this item.

Mr. Metzung stated, we budgeted for a new one this year.  The old one broke.  We would need to put $2,200 into it.

Mr. Delguyd asked, do we keep it for parts or scrap it? Mr. Metzung replied, scrap it, keep it for parts, or talk to them to see if they would trade it in for us, but I don’t think so. Mr. Delguyd replied, if not, we can just hold on to it.

Mr. Wynne asked, we budgeted $8,000?  Mr. Metzung replied, $8,000.  It’s a little bit over budget.

Mr. Delguyd asked, any questions?  There were none.

2. Money owed for memberships and swim programs at Fieldhouse
(City of Mayfield Heights - $5,371.00 – pass through)

Mr. Thomas reported, this is a pass through.  It’s exactly like Progressive Insurance memberships. Same concept.

Mr. Delguyd asked, any questions?  There were none.

Mr. Delguyd asked, any other matters?

Mr. Metzung reported, we will be going to bid for the Grove work.

Mrs. Cinco asked, when are we going to do street striping?  Mr. Metzung replied, June or July so that it is done in August.

Mr. Delguyd asked, do we have RFP’s on the Grove work?  Mr. Metzung replied, they were prepared today.  Mr. Delguyd asked, they will be in our packets on Friday?  Mr. Metzung replied, yes.

Mr. Delguyd asked, infrastructure, drainage, electrical?  Mr. Metzung replied, we are not doing electrical, just drainage and walkways.

Mr. Delguyd asked, do we have a more complete plan?  Obviously electrical will be coming at some point. Mr. Marrelli replied, electric is next year maybe.

Mr. Marrelli reported, we have a bid opening this Friday on the restrooms.  Mr. Delguyd stated, my understanding is we were going to try to bid both restrooms and pavilions with the understanding they are going to do one this year and one next year.  Ms. Wolgamuth replied, depending on what the numbers look like.    Mr. Marrelli added, unless someone comes in and gives us a huge discount to do both at once.    Mr. Dinardo stated, we can see when those numbers come in.

Mr. Delguyd asked, any word on Progressive?  Ms. Wolgamuth replied, yes, unofficially they are interested in contributing to building a pavilion at the soccer fields, doing the landscaping and possibly doing the paved area.

Mr. Delguyd asked, nothing at the softball fields?  Ms. Wolgamuth replied, no, just at the soccer fields.

Mr. Delguyd asked, any other matters?  There were none.

There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 7:35 p.m.

Respectfully submitted,

Mary E. Betsa, Clerk of Council
