During the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Ohio General Assembly provided a temporary statutory exception to the “in person” meeting requirement (ORC Section 121.22) that allowed public bodies to meet virtually, that exception expired June 30, 2021.
On Feb. 9, 2022, the G.A. re-instituted a limited-time exception (Sub. H.B. 51, 134th General Assembly), which temporarily permits public bodies to meet virtually. The measure was signed into law by Gov. Mike DeWine, making it immediately effective. This exception expires July 1, 2022.
The public is invited to view the meeting live and can access the meeting through a link posted on the Mayfield Village website at www.mayfieldvillage.com. The public is encouraged to view this meeting agenda and offer any comments or questions prior to the meeting to be read into the record and addressed at the meeting. Comments and questions will be accepted until 4:00 pm on Tues, May 24, 2022 by sending an e-mail to Deborah Garbo at email@example.com.
