RFP: Transportation Engineering Services
In accordance with Ohio Revised Code 153.691, the RFP for professional traffic engineering services is hereby rescinded. An RFQ will be re-issued, to be advertised and posted within 2 weeks.
Request for Proposal for Transportation Engineering Services
Mayfield Village and the City of Highland Heights are jointly soliciting proposals for an Interchange Modification Study (IMS) at I-271 and Wilson Mills Road. Only those engineering firms that have been pre-qualified by the Ohio Dept of Transportation with respect to both Interchange Modification Studies and Complex Roadways should reply.
Consultants shall be wholly familiar with ODOT and FHWA policies, procedures, standards, practices, requirements, etc. The IMS shall contain all components as required by ODOT: Executive Summary, FHWA Policy Point Compliance, Background, Purpose and Need, Study Area, Existing Conditions, Analysis Years, Alternatives Considered, Traffic Volumes, Traffic Analyses, Cost Estimate(s), Conceptual Signing Plan, Conclusion and Recommendations, Appendices and Exhibits as necessary.
Interested parties may pick up a Request for Proposal from the administrative offices of Mayfield Village at the Mayfield Village Civic Center, 6622 Wilson Mills Road, Mayfield Village, Ohio 44143 between the hours of 8:30 A.M. and 4:30 P.M., Monday thru Friday. Requests for Proposals are also available for download on the Mayfield Village website at www.mayfieldvillage.com/government/public-notices
Written, sealed proposals –including references, staff assignments, and hourly rates for additional services– must be submitted to both Mayfield Village and City of Highland Heights as follows: 1.) Mayfield Village, 6622 Wilson Mills Road, Mayfield Village, Ohio 44143 attn: John Marquart, Economic Development Manager; and 2.) City of Highland Heights, 5827 Highland Road, Highland Heights, Ohio 44143, attn: Chuck Brunello, Mayor no later than 4:00 p.m. on Friday, June 14, 2019. Proposals received in person or by mail on or after this date and time will not be considered. In order to be considered, all proposals must be completed according to the specifications and provisions outlined in the Request for Proposal.
