OPEN PORTION:

Chairman Parker called the meeting to order. Whoever is here to present, please state your name for the record.

Chris Celleghin, applicant’s brother-n-law introduced himself.  They’re out of town and asked that I represent them. To my left here is Domenic Ferritto, the builder.

Chris Celleghin said, they’re going to extend their master bedroom out. They want to give that master bedroom access to the new deck. They want to add a small master bath and also add a small walk-in closet.

Domenic Ferritto refers to photos of the existing home, pointing out where the addition is going on the back. We’ll match everything that’s there. The clay siding will match, the roof I think is a Weatherwood 3-dimensional to match, and red brick to grade to match. There’s probably a 20’ sideyard to their neighbor.

Dr. Triner said, you’re not showing the electrical in the bathroom, exhaust fans you have to have.

Domenic Ferritto replied, it will all be done to code.

Chairman Parker said, it’s good to notice that stuff but that’s more of just a suggestion. This Board should be concerned with the exterior. John Marrelli will review the plans for code compliance.

Mr. Varelmann comments, this 2’ 5” hall is probably pretty narrow, pretty tight.

Domenic Ferritto replied, we’ll probably end up stealing 6” out of that walk-in closet.

Chairman Parker asked about the vanity size.

Domenic Ferritto replied, the vanity cabinet will be 21 inches and the top will be 22 inches.

Dr. Triner said, another consideration is handicap accessibility to get in there.

Mr. Varelmann said, if that’s a single door, I don’t know why you need a double door in there. You could make this corridor 3’.

Domenic Ferritto said, the double door was one of the homeowner’s wishes, but good points.

Chairman Parker asked, any further comments?

There were none.
